WhatsApp is going to launch its payment services in Asian
country.
National Payments corporation of India| (NPCI) notifying Reserve Bank of India
( RBI) that the electronic communication platform has met the factors for
information localization.
Last week, RBI filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court
telling NPCI had told the central band in June that WhatsApp’s compliance with
the regulators’ information storage rules had glad it wants and it had been a
good call to begin the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platform.
According to tp RBI rules, Payment data, info on payments or
settlement transactions, client information, among alternative info must be
started in India within the future.
According to details, WhatsApp is providing trial to a
number of its users.
