Facebook's parent company Meta has banned Israeli and Indian companies involved in espionage and other illegal cyber activities.

According to media reports, Meta has removed 1,500 Facebook and Instagram pages linked to hacking groups. Facebook has issued warnings to more than 50,000 users who are believed to have been targeted by spy companies in more than 100 countries.
